Title: Quadrant Four Filename: quadfour.wad Author: Rory Kostman Email address: rory.kostman@swcbbs.com Misc. Author info: Lets see, 25, male. Hobbies include paintball (real deathmatch) computers (duh) , RPG's. Earn money as a PC LAN Specialist at Regional Hospital. Thats about it. Description: Four distinct areas linked in the middle by a common room. each area is fairly different in appearance and feel. There are High Tech, Low tech, Lava/Blood, and outdoor/telefrag caves. Add. Credits: To Matt Tagliaferri for answering my emails promptly and chatting with me about various other subjects on-line. Heck of a nice guy. * Play Information * Game: Doom II Episode and Level: Map01, (planned to change it but never got around to it) Single Player: Yes, takes a while and is fairly nasty on high diff. Cooperative play: Yes, much easier than single player. Deathmatch: Yes, lots of start locations, none are traps/locked in Difficulty settings: Yes, all of them , but real Doomers only play U.V. anyway New Sounds: No, decided not to patch in my daughter whining for more pop. New Music: No, I am not a musician, nor do I like poorly ported midi files. Demos replaced: None. * Construction * Base: New level from scratch Editor used: DoomCAD 6.0 Known bugs: Didnt align many of the textures, but used ones that look good no other bugs. I would use a 486/dx2 or better, especially in the telefrag caves. There are a lot of trans. line defs there. * Copyright Stuff * Authors may use this level as a base to build additional levels as long as they email me so I can look at the result. Any commercial use is, of course, prohibited. You May distribute this WAD, provided you include this file, with no modifications. You May distribute this file in an electronic format as long as you include this file. Where to get this file: Well, you got it so I guess you know that part already. P.S. Drop me a line to let me know if this one stinks or not. While this is my first upload, I put a HUNDRED hours or so into construction and game play. I think it is pretty good, better than the usual tripe I download.
